What is NeaNMS?
NeaNMS is a software suite that provides all the necessary functions for a proactive network and service management. With NeaNMS you can provision your devices, monitor their functionality and performance, save and archive their configuration, place them on the geomap and receive alerts whenever they fail. Besides, you can provision your network subscribers and classify them with different access criteria according to their service level.

Can I be warned before a network link reaches saturation?
Yes. NeaNMS has a customizable threshold level which triggers a warning whenever reached. Threshold can be configured when the detected value is below, above or within a certain value.
If a device fails, will I receive an alert on each node affected by the outage?
No. You will receive the alert only of the device which caused the network outage. Whenever NeaNMS detects a failure, thanks to the dependency tree, it will identify the real cause of the outage. Of course, more crucial devices (such as access points or backbone switches) will be configured with a higher notification level (e.g. EMERGENCY).
I have to monitor more than 2,000 devices with over 20,000 pollings, will NeaNMS make it?
Sure! One of the key features of NeaNMS is the load balancing engine which makes it easy to increment the number of polling engine servers whenever they are close to run out of resources. Besides, the polling modules code is embedded into the polling engine binary so that no external command will be launched for detecting the device values, certainly improving the server performance.
How much does NeaNMS cost?
The basic version of NeaNMS costs € 499 and it does not have any feature restriction supporting, however, a limited number of network elements and subscribers. Why NeaNMS instead of any of the open-source projects available?
We are in favour of the open-source philosophy, although we realize that companies need support and quick adaptability to their specific needs. Open-source tools lack of economically sustainable support and their roadmap is community-driven instead of market-driven. Yet, scalability is always an issue.
